As a free-thinker/campaigner/activist/progressive you’ve no doubt participated in the odd protest or marched in support of a just cause. You’ll have witnessed the genius of your fellow humans in expressing themselves with humour and concision. Or maybe you were that genius. Either way, we want to see what you’ve got. Enter our our Wittiest Placard Competition to gain both discounted tickets and the recognition you deserve!

Mastery of The Absurd

Now’s the chance to show your creative flair, sense of humour and mastery of the absurd, whilst bringing a message to the community. Make a placard on the issue of your choice* and bring it along to “It’s Time at The Rondo Theatre on June 3ʳᵈ. Your handicraft will be displayed during the show and there will be a prize for the wittiest placard.

*this could be non-specific or just plain nonsense!

Get Creating

So what are you waiting for? Get creating. You may want to take a look at the embedded video for inspiration. Or perhaps you have a warped imagination all of your own. Placards can be any shape or size, provided you are able to hold and carry them. Please feel free to parade your placard on the way to the show**. Rules may be obtained by consulting your own conscience.
